Employment Readiness

In 2022, The Quintilian Way piloted an Employment Readiness program, funded by The Kingston Foundation for Autism Spectrum Disorders, for participants aged eighteen and up to learn job skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Participants did not need any work experience to participate in this program. Facilitators worked with the participants to learn specific skills that employers are looking for in the service industry but can apply to employment in general.

We used an actual food truck as a training tool and the participants ran it for two days during summer camp.
